Thank you for choosing VoKit (hereinafter referred to as "the App", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively referred to as "the Services"). By accessing or using VoKit, you agree to the collection and processing of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of VoKit Services worldwide. It covers data collected through our mobile application, official website and related technologies, except where a separate dedicated privacy notice is provided.

We only collect information that is necessary to provide, optimize and secure the Services. The categories of information we collect are as follows:

2.1 Personal Data You Provide Voluntarily

2.2 Media Content Uploaded by Users

• Photos, videos and various media files you upload to generate AI-enhanced content (including face swap, filter effects and character replacement features)

Note: To provide the aforementioned features, we may conduct technical processing on facial images. Such processing is strictly limited to the scope necessary to deliver the Services and requires your prior explicit consent. We will not collect or use facial biometric features beyond this necessity.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage data (e.g., feature interaction records, app error logs)
• Device and system information (e.g., operating system version, unique device identifiers)
• Analytics data (obtained through third-party data analytics services)

2.4 Data from Third-Party Sources

If you choose to log in to or link the App via third-party services (e.g., Apple/Google accounts), we may obtain relevant data from such third-party services, subject to the scope of your authorization and the privacy terms of the third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the Services, including core functions such as AI video generation, face swap and filter effects
• To optimize user experience and analyze service usage trends for product iteration
• To process transactions and subscription-related matters, ensuring the proper fulfillment of paid services
• To send you update notifications, respond to customer support requests and inform you of policy changes
• To comply with legal obligations and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of both ourselves and users

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We will not sell or rent your personal data for marketing purposes. We may share or disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers and Partners:Third-party entities that assist us in providing the Services (e.g., cloud computing service providers, AI technology processors, data analytics service providers). These partners are bound by strict data protection obligations and may only use the data within the scope necessary to provide services for us.
• Legal Compliance:When required by applicable laws, effective court judgments or official requests from government regulatory authorities
• Business Transfers:In the event of corporate acquisition, merger or asset transfer
• Aggregated/Anonymous Data:Used for internal analysis and service optimization (such data has been stripped of personal identifiers and cannot be linked to specific individuals)

5. Facial Data Policy

5.1 Special Notice

When you use the AI image generation feature, we will analyze the photos you upload and extract key facial feature points (such as those of the eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) to perform face-processing operations. Please note that we do not collect any facial data whatsoever. Upon completion of the analysis process, all relevant data will be permanently deleted. If you refuse to provide such information, you may be unable to use the core features of this app, but this will not affect your access to other functions and services.

5.2 Purpose and Process of Facial Data Usage

To provide the Character Replacement feature and related effects, we need to detect key facial feature points including those of the eyes, nose, and mouth. The complete process is as follows:

1. The photo you select will be securely transmitted to our servers in an encrypted format.
2. The server analyzes the facial data in the photo and applies it to the template you have chosen.
3. After rendering is completed, the server will send the final generated content (i.e., your "creation") back to the application.
4. The generated content will be temporarily stored in encrypted storage and permanently deleted once the rendering process is finished. Meanwhile, the original photo you uploaded will be immediately deleted from our servers.

5.3 Sharing and Storage of Facial Data

We will never share users’ facial data with any third parties, nor will we store any facial images submitted by users. All uploaded photos will be immediately deleted upon completion of the analysis process.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights:

• To access your personal data and view the information we hold about you
• To correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal information
• To delete your user account and all associated data

Depending on the applicable laws in your region, you may also have additional rights (e.g., rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU residents, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for California residents in the U.S.). You may exercise these rights through the in-app settings interface or by contacting us directly.

7. Data Security

The security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal information are of paramount importance to us. We will adopt various technical and administrative measures to prevent the collected and/or stored personal information from being lost, misused, accessed without authorization or disclosed.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We will not knowingly collect personal information from children without the explicit consent of their parents or guardians. If we learn that we have collected personal information from children without authorization, we will take immediate measures to delete such data completely.

9. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to servers located outside your country or region for processing and storage. When conducting cross-border data transfers, we will take appropriate measures to ensure adequate protection of the data, including the use of EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally compliant safeguards where necessary.
